Required course for any private security registrant who wishes to be able to carry a rifle on duty.
An Introduction to Firearm Safety: Covers gun safety rules, causes of firearm “accidents,” and general safety. Receive certificate upon completion.
Shotgun classroom training. Individual must first successfully complete entry-level or security officer handgun training. The entry-level shotgun classroom instruction will emphasize but not be limited to: Shotgun handling techniques, Fundamentals of shotgun marksmanship, and a written exam.
